About Us

Since 1986, our karate school has helped students to achieve their true potential, and provided positive guidance while educating, motivating, and demonstrating the many benefits of the martial arts.

Under the able ownership of Jennifer and Mike Luth, the school continues its mission to provide quality karate and fitness training, personal development, and community service. The Luth's themselves have been students at the school for more than ten years. Now, they unite the school's proud tradition with their own fresh approach and dedication to the continued success of the students at Luth's Family Karate.

Jennifer Luth
Before becoming co-owner, Jennifer had been a program director and instructor at the school since 1996. She has been studying karate since 1994 and currently holds the rank of 4th-degree Black Belt. Mrs. Luth teaches children's, adult, and cardio/strength classes. A certified personal trainer, Mrs. Luth also has a degree in Special Education.

Mike Luth
As co-owner and instructor, Mike teaches adult and children's karate classes and weapons classes. Mr. Luth is a former special agent for the US Secret Service and has protected the President and other heads of state. Mike also has a background in local law enforcement and has been a police D.A.R.E. officer and self-defense instructor. He is a 4th-degree Black Belt.

In addition to their extended karate family, the Luth's have two children of their own.
